Review by hotel critic
Immersing myself in history, Hotel Ruze is a gem set in a restored 15th-century Franciscan monastery. The antique furniture and historical charm captivated us. The location is unparalleled, with the center and castle just a short walk away, offering breathtaking views. Dining at the hotel, with its historical feast experience, was a highlight, complemented by top-notch amenities like the indoor pool and wellness center. The vegetarian-friendly breakfast was a delightful surprise, catering to all tastes. Staff spoke excellent English and were attentive to our requests, making our stay truly memorable and comfortable. The only downside was the limited view from our 3rd-floor room, but overall, our stay was a magical experience. The valet parking service was convenient, and the daily breakfast offered a wide selection. Enjoying the view from the terrace was a wonderful touch, elevating our stay at this historic and charming hotel to new heights.
